Quando viene applicata una tensione positiva all&#039;anodo e una tensione inferiore al catodo, il diodo conduce corrente. In caso di polarit\u00e0 inversa, blocca il passaggio di corrente.<\/p>\n<p>Ci\u00f2 accade perch\u00e9 un diodo contiene una giunzione PN. Un lato \u00e8 drogato per avere elettroni extra (tipo N).
