Idea b\u00e1sica y funcionamiento de los diodos<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Un diodo tiene dos terminales: el \u00e1nodo y el c\u00e1todo. Cuando se aplica un voltaje positivo al \u00e1nodo y un voltaje menor al c\u00e1todo, el diodo conduce corriente. En polaridad inversa, bloquea el paso de la corriente.<\/p>\n<p>Esto ocurre porque un diodo contiene una uni\u00f3n PN. Un lado est\u00e1 dopado para tener electrones adicionales (tipo N). El otro lado est\u00e1 dopado para tener huecos adicionales (tipo P). En la uni\u00f3n, se forma una delgada regi\u00f3n de agotamiento.
